2.Approve minutes 17 November 2021
The notes of the meeting held on 17 November 2021 were approved as minutes and signed by the Chairman. Proposed By Cllr Harvey, seconded by Cllr Hinton.

6.Resignation of a Councillor
Cllr Farley has sent a letter of resignation to the Chairman. Clerk to inform SKDC. The vacancy will be advertised on the parish council website, the notice boards and Next Door.
7.Planning issues - verbal report from the Planning Working Group
Cllr Brooman spoke via video conference and relayed concerns regarding the building work on Station Road leading to workers’ cars being parked on the pavement – residents were forced to walk in the road along that stretch of road. A fence had been installed on a plot of land adjacent to Red Barn House in Glen Road; residents had expressed concerns on the loss of view as a result – SKDC will be informed and2179 for tree work at Red Barn House, Glen Road. Cllr Brooman will report back at the January meeting. The clerk has written on two occasions to the owner of the plot of land asking for the 0.90m stone wall to be reinstated at the location, as requested by SKDC many years ago.

SKDC has granted planning permission to application S21/2179 for tree work at Red Barn House, Glen Road.
9.Community Speed Watch – purchase of radar speed gun
Cllr McLaughlin has sent the prices for a radar speed gun and CSW advisory signs. It was proposed by Cllr Harvey, seconded by Cllr Goode, Cllr Hinton in favour to purchase the following: radar speed gun, £255; one advisory sign costing £63.29; one advisory sign costing £72.57.
10.Fibre Broadband project
Cllr Brooman was waiting to hear back from Lincolnshire regarding the funding for the Fibre Broadband project.
11.Projects for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 
Cllr Hinton will have a meeting with the Midsummer Festival committee, Anything Goes and other village groups to organise a joint approach to celebrations such as a Big Lunch in June.
12.Amenities Working Group report – quotes for tree work at cemetery, upper green, playing field; cemetery paths edging quotes
Two tree quotes had been received and a third expected – this item will be back on the agenda at the January meeting. Michael Wight will be asked whether he would like to take on cemetery paths edging as part of his duties; an edging tool could be purchased for him should he not have one. The alternative would be to install steel edging plates at a cost of around £1500. Invitations to tender for cemetery ground improvement were sent out on 15 December with a 4 January 2022 deadline. The Queen’s Treescape project had been approved by LCC but the parish council had not yet been informed of the saplings species which would be delivered. Cllr Harvey carried out an inspection of the playing field on 15 December 2021 and found the area generally in good condition; the basketball structure bolt caps still needed to be replaced; Covid-19 mitigation warning signs have been replaced at both entrances; the ‘no climbing’ sign on the basketball hoop structure, as recommended by ROSPA will be replaced as soon as possible with tamper-proof bolts.
13.Recreation Field development – adult fitness equipment responses to tender invite
           Cllr Hinton had received expressions of interest from seven companies. The final decision 
           will be made in January.
14.Village gateways update
The gateways proposal has been referred to the LCC signs manager because of new regulations. Cllr Hinton has written to District Cllr P Robbins to ask for assistance on this matter as he had been unable to talk to anyone at LCC.
15.Burial Committee matters - Memorial request
The Councillors unanimously approved a Memorial application from JC Cross Monumental and Building Mason.

17.Discuss precept 2022/23
Cllr Hinton will prepare a breakdown of revenue, capital cost, expenditure for the January meeting when the precept request will be agreed upon.
