Resignation of Cllr Goode. Thanks from all for service to CBPC.
4. Approve minutes 17 May 2026
Proposed by Cllr Sismey-Durrant, seconded by Cllr Mclaughlin; all in favour.
5. County Council matters
Cllr Vernon -
‘Children - Slow’ sign on the bus shelter on Station Road is being chased up.
Anglia Water commencing corrective works soon on Water Lane
Notification regarding this week’s Lincolnshire Show.
6. District Council matters
None - Cllr Robins not in attendance.
7. Planning issues - verbal report from the Planning Working Group
S26/0838 Application for Tree Works. No comment.
S26/0539 Application for 4x dog kennels and temporary accommodation. Recommendation - Objection.
S26/0873 Application for conversion of barn to residential. Recommendation - Objection.
8. Amenities Working Group report.
Grass around village gateways cut.
Email received concerning state of cemetery - regarding bushes, weeds on cinder pathway and around some graves. An Action Plan is being formulated and approval for a budget increase will be discussed in July’s meeting
Discussion if non-parishioners burial charges be amended.
Caution tape will placed around the village sign ahead of CB Midsummer Festival.

Certificate of Exemption Form 2 submitted. Proposed by Cllr Sismey-Durrant, seconded by Cllr Hammond.

Submission of invoice from 2025.
13. Councillors’ verbal reports
Cllr Sismey-Durrant - mound on Station Road.
Cllr Hammond - speed of vehicles in the village. Cllr Vernon happy to lead this a member of the public.
Cllr Mclaughlin - attending Lincolnshire Show and will discuss CPRE refurbishment of phone box.
Cllr Hayward - asked if the wheelie bin been delivered by LCC for the cemetery. Concern regarding fencing
for the quarry on Station Road and trial bikes seen there.

Recommendation from SKDC that councillors’ addresses be removed from website.
September’s meeting will be moved to 9th.
