During the Public Forum residents voiced concerns regarding the spoil mound on Station Road. SKDC confirmed that the bund does not form part of the recent planning application and a new application is required.

- Approve minutes 19 November 2025
The record of the meeting held on 19 November 2025 was approved after a correction by the Chair regarding lCllr Morrow named as chairing the Personnel Committee and signed by the Chair. Proposed by Cllr Sismey Dugmore, seconded by Cllr Morrow, all in favour.

- Planning issues - verbal report from the Planning Working Group
a)Cllr Dugmore asked about S25/2105 re. Bat boxes from 2/12/2025 but the Chair responded stating the cut off date of 11/12/2025 had been missed.
b) S25/2255 No.5 Pinfold Road - Recommended with no comment. The Chair stated the CBPC comment submitted via the Planning Portal
- Community Speed Watch
Six parishioners have come forward to volunteer for the CSW. The Chair will email CSW to organise the relevant training session in the first week of February.
Cllr Hayward showed a design for a ‘SLOW DOWN - CHILDREN CROSSING’ sign and said a quote of £20.28 had been obtained for a 600mm x 400mm notice which could attached to the bus shelter. Cllr Hayward to obtain highways dept advice.

Cllr Hayward stated he was waiting for the aluminium sheet for the no water sign at the cemetery gate.
Positive Comments were made regarding the appearance of the CB Christmas tree.
- Burial Committee Matters
Cllr Hayward asked for the procedure when recording an internment.
- Correspondence
- The Chair brought it to the committees attention that there were two Clerk’s email accounts and would be looking into the matter in February.
- Accounts
The Committee discussed tenders and grant application in the coming year before voting on the Precept for 2026-2027. The vote was 5-1 in favour of the Precept being frozen and was 6-1 when Cllr Brooman’s (absentia) vote was included.
- Councillors’ verbal reports
Cllr Dugmore asked which what was the first step in initiating the search for a new Clerk. The Chair stated it would be a Job Description, the personnel committee will send a job description for review with a cover letter and job advert.
The temporary Clerk stated the CBPC keys would be kept with Cllr Brooman during their annual leave in January.
The Chair stated the window of the bus shelter was loose again and would require further attention.
Cllr Sismey-Durrant reported a broken footpath sign at Lawn Wood to LCC.
