What is a Parish Plan?
The core idea of a Parish Plan is that village people get together to identify what matters to them and what they would like to see happen to make their village and community a better place.
The method by which these ideas and ambitions come together is called the Parish Plan, and this then becomes a tool to give guidance and direction to those who are in a position to turn these ideas into reality.
Although the Castle Bytham Parish Plan was issued in 2010, its analysis of what the community saw as its priorities is still relevant today. Moreover, it provides a basis for the Neighbourhood Plan currently being developed for the Parish.
